Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Ternary CAMs are becoming increasingly important fbr networking aoDlications. In this paper, we propose a novel dynamic Ternary CAM architecture with olanar complementary caoacitors. With this architecter. small TCAM cell size of4.79 um2 ih a 1 30nm CMOS technology is realized, which is about half of the conventional TCAM cell size. Other TCAM design architectures such as TSR (Transparently Scheduled Refresh) which make the Drooosed TCAM especially attractive for networking aoolications are also introduced.
