Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A real-time player tracking system consisting of a DSP board and a computer is developed. Two players can be tracked in real time using template matching and difference image with background. A new algorithm is added to track a player who comes back on the scene after an absence. The tracked positions of the players are transformed into coordinates of the court. Trace, total distance, and correlation between two singles players are analyzed which may be utilized to improve players' performance.
