Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | The linear-phase filterbank (LPFB) has advantage that can exploit the symmetric-extension for adjusting the problem of increasing the number of signal at a signal convolution. However, that also has weakness; the property of the LPFB is not good as the nonlinear-phase filterbank (NLPFB) because of the constraint as linear-phase. On the other hand, although the NLPFB has been proposed before, not been applying to image coding without the proposal of an effective method. So, this paper presents the non-expansive convolution for NLPFB, and application in image coding. |
