Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a new kernel where the top information on the heap and the valley type reproduced by computing the value of interpolating point from values of adjacent two points in original image. In this method, four parameters of the proposed kernel are changed by fuzzy reasoning by using difference information on adjoining original data. The proposed kernel with the linear phase characteristics contains a linear interpolation and a nearest-neighbor interpolation. Moreover the proposed kernel can achieve a better visual quality than cubic interpolation, yet requires fewer computation cost. Finally, the usefulness of the proposed kernel is verified through some examples.
