Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The lifting structured wavelet transform is applied to various image data compression techniques. This report aims at analyzing errors caused by shorting word length of the multiplier coefficients contained in those wavelet transforms. It is clarified how the errors propagate through the wavelet transform and how much the error variance will be in the reconstructed signal. As a result, it is shown that how the auto-correlation and cross-correlation of the band signals influence on the error variance.
