| 抄録(和) | 本報告では,JPEG2000により符号化された画像を通信する際に発生するエラーに対して符号列のヘッダを保護する方法を提案する.提案法は,JPEG2000の機能の一つであるレイヤー構造を使用する.JPEG2000符号列内のヘッダ情報を重要度の低い下位レイヤーに埋め込み,ヘッダ情報にエラーが発生した場合にその埋め込み情報を利用し,ヘッダ情報を保護する.このようにヘッダ情報を多重化する理由は,ヘッダ情報は重要度が高く,わずかな誤りでも画像全体に影響してしまうからである.また,ヘッダ情報は,単純な多重化だけでなく,プロトコルやJPEG2000の規格と独立に保護することが可能である.提案法はJPEG2000のデータ構造を保持するため,JPEG2000の標準エラー耐性機能を下限として保持し,かつ,汎用デコーダでの復号も可能である.実際の画像を用いたシミュレーションを行い,提案法の有効性を示す. |
| 抄録(英) | In this paper, we propose a header protection scheme for JPEG2000 images against communication channel error. Header information is more important than body data because one bit error in a header lowers the quality of the decoded image. The proposed method uses the layer structure that is a feature of JPEG2000. In this method, header data is hidden in the lowest layer of the JPEG2000 bit stream, as watermark information, and this embedded header is used for header protection. In addition, the proposed scheme can hide multiple copies of header information in the lowest layer and also can protect this header against errors, regardless of JPEG2000 versions and data communication protocols. A bit stream encoded using the proposed method has the same data structure as a standard JPEG2000. Therefore, it can be decoded by a standard decoder. Our simulation results demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed method. |
