| 抄録(和) | SID'04シンポジュームのプラズマディスプレイ関連セッションでの発表を概観し,注目技術について概要を報告する.発表論文数は口頭発表18件,ポスター発表13件,計31件であった.昨年に比べ報告数は約10件減少した.しかし,内容としては発光効率改善のための放電ガスの高xe混合比化に伴う駆動電圧の上昇,アドレス放電遅延などの課題に対する解決手法の提案,高画質化技術,青蛍光体のプロセスや駆動劣化メカニズムなど,次世代製品の重要な技術開発課題に関するものが多くあった.特に高発光効率及び更なる高画質化のキー技術として電極構造の設計及び駆動技術に関する発表が全体の約60%占めた. |
| 抄録(英) | This report introduces the papers presented at the color plasma display sessions of 2004 SID International Symposium and several remarkable papers are reviewed. The total number of the presented papers was 31 including 18 oral papers and 13 poster papers. The number of the papers was ten affairs fewer than last year. However, these papers covered the important technology issues needed to be developed for the next generation PDF such as the solution technologies for the issues of high operating voltage and addressing time lag by adopting high Xe content to improve the luminous efficacy and the new technologies for high picture quality and also the mechanism of thermal and operating degradation of blue phosphor. Especially, the papers about the discharge cell design and the driving method for the key technologies to improve the luminous efficacy and picture quality occupied about 60% of the whole. |
