Abstract(in English) | Molecular wires such as DNA and an insulated molecular wire, inclusion complex of conducting polymer and cyclic molecules, are indispensable for constructing molecular electronic devices. We have recently elongated a single chain of the molecular wires on a substrate with 4 metal electrodes and measured the conductivities with observing the shape of the chains by AFM. Here we introduce some experimental results of the conductivity measurement of the molecular wires. |
