Abstract(in English) Our goal is to realize an extra-large stereoscopic display for use by the general public outdoors. The use of LED panels enables extra-large stereoscopic displays for outdoor installations such as stadiums, street advertising, and billboards. We have developed an active binocular camera and its software for a stereoscopic LED display. The binocular camera consists of a pair of CCD cameras, each of which is mounted on a stepping motor. Real-time display of stereoscopic movies and target tracking experiments has been demonstrated.
