| 抄録(和) | 既存の液晶パネルの傾斜偏光特性を利用して簡易な2眼式立体ディスプレイを開発した. しかし, 1台のモニタに左右2枚の画像を並べて表示するので, 縮小立体映像にならざるをえない. それ故, 箱庭効果や書き割り効果などの奥行き歪みが生じやすい. 著者らは, 画面サイズの拡大・縮小やカメラ間隔を考慮した幾何学モデルを考案した. それらの条件を考慮することにより, 奥行き歪みが改善された. さらに複数の仮想空間を重ね合わせた超仮想空間を構成することにより, 奥行き感のある立体映像表示が実現できた. |
| 抄録(英) | The authors developed a simple stereoscopic display using the characteristic of inclined polarization of existing LCD panels. However the stereoscopic images are displayed on the slightly small screen. Therefore several distortions often appear as puppet theater effect and cardboard effect. The authors propose a geometrical model that is mainly related to the reduction/magnification about the screen size and the distance of a pair of cameras. The authors could improve the depth distortions by considering these conditions. Moreover the authors succeeded in improving 3D images more vividly. The essential point is the construction of multiple layered virtual images that can be called "sur-virtual image". |
