Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) High-density generation of directional images is a new human-friendly 3D display technique, and is implemented by modified 2D arranged optical systems. This technique provides following features: (1) no need of wearing any 3D glasses, (b) simultaneous observation by multiple persons, (c) no contradiction to human 3D perception, (c) offering color and moving images, and (d) providing high presence. A prototype full-color 3D display which can generate 64 directional images is demonstrated. Generated 3D images are shown. Human accommodation responses to the generated 3D images are also shown.
