Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to apply to wide band rader or imaging array, FDTD (Finite Difference Time Domain) analysis and experiment of Anti-Podal Fermi Antenna(APFA) is performed. It has been reported that the corrugation attached on the co-planar type Fermi Antenna can controll the radiation pattern and reduce the side lobe level. In this report, the technique using the corrugation is applied to anti-podal Fermi Antenna. FDTD analysis and experimental investigation are performed. It is shown that the actual gain can increase by the presence of the corrugation. It is also noted that the cross-polarized component, the side lobe level, and the back lobe level can be reduced.
