Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Dual band planar antennas able to separate both reception and transmission signals are used in mobile systems (especially for mobile satellite communications). These antennas have the asset of being small and low cost. In this report, such a dual band circularly polarized antenna using a stacked-type configuration is investigated. The antenna is composed of two parts, namely, a circularly polarized microstrip antenna on the top and circularly polarized slot antenna all united by a common ground plane. Both parts are fed by electromagnetic coupling generated by microstrip line. With such a configuration, it is possible to efficiently separate both signals, as each feeding line is located on either side of the ground plane. This antenna is analyzed and its numerical performances obtained by the Method of Moments are investigated. As a result, the possibility to obtain promising isolation characteristics with such a design was confirmed.
