Abstract(in English) A novel spatial filtering technique for OFDM scheme called "VISA: Virtual Subcarrier Assignment" has been proposed. This paper shows its principle and its application to an IEEE 802.1 la-based system. The effect of angle spread and the effect of antenna element spacing for the proposed system are investigated by computer simulation. Furthermore, with a more practical spatio-temporal indoor channel model, the performance of the proposed system is evaluated by computer simulation.
