Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, communication systems employing millimeter waves are planning to use in ITS (Intelligent Transportation System). Here a dielectric lens antenna is considered as promising candidate. Designing methods of lens surfaces have already been developed. However, calculation of these lenses radiation characteristics have been insufficient. In this paper, ray tracing methods are developed to calculate off beam characteristics, caustics in focal regions and multiple reflections between lens surfaces. By applying develop ray tracing methods to practical lens antennas, effectiveness are ensured.
