Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We measured a radiation efficiency of monopole antennas using Improved Wheeler Method. Then the dips of efficiency were observed at particular frequencies. So, avoiding it and we succeeded in improving accuracy of Improved Wheeler Method. In the case of a waveguide which is used our measurement, when the Sliding Short is inserted into waveguide, an air gap exists between waveguide wall and the side of Sliding Short. If the air gap is filled with metallic mesh, the dips of efficiency are avoided. In this paper, we discuss about the cause and countermeasure of the dips.
