Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Multi Carrier CDMA (MC-CDMA) Technique has been considered as one of the candidate transmission techniques for the next generation of mobile communication system because of its efficient usage of frequency bandwidth, robustness to multi-path fading and efficient acommodation of multiple users. It is also well known that the MC-CDMA technique in conjunction with the adaptive modulation method could achieve the higher signal quality and higher transmission data even under the multi-path fading environments. This paper proposes a novel estimation method for received CNR only by using preamble symbols, which can be used in the assignment of optimum modulation method for each user according to its user's link conditions. This paper also presents various computer simulation results to verify the proposed method.
