Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, the propagation channel in the MIMO space and polarization domains data transmission in a Rayleigh channel is modeled, and the relation between XPD and communication capacity is discussed. The results show that, when communication capacity of dual polarizations and single polarization is compared, communication capacity for dual polarizations is two times larger than that for single polarization in average. In addition, a simplified calculation method of the largest eigenvalue of instantaneous covariance matrix, which is useful for estimating the performance of MRC data transmission in space and polarization domains, is proposed.
