A Hardware Survey of DBF Antenna Based on DOA Estimation

Abstract(in English) For the high speed wireless data transmission, it is necessary to develop ultra high speed DOA and beam forming antenna system in reasonable cost. Though a lot of research for adaptive antenna algorism can be found in references, a small number of reports have been presented for the realization of hardware and its problems. This paper presents hardware architecture for smart antenna including multi-channel calibrated transceiver, AD/DA converter and digital processing unit together with its optimum DOA and beam forming algorism.
