Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a wireless indoor locator with Reactance-Domain RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) profile and with Reactance-Domain received signal profile using ESPAR (Electronically Steerable Parastic Array Radiator) antenna to detect the potision of a use in dead area where radio waves from a GPS (Global Positioning System) satellite doesn't arrive. Simulation result shows that both position locating systems can detect the potision of a user correctly in a indoor multipath environment. Moreover simulation result also shows that the method of changing a reactance set table is effective to detect the potision of a user reliably. Finally, Experiment result shows that both position locating systems could detect the position of a user in accuracy of less than 0.2m at least.
