Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A structural parameter extraction method for ESPAR antennas is proposed. By means of this method, an admittance matrix and an equivalent steering vector of an ESPAR antenna designed at 2.484 GHz are extracted. Once M+2 far-field pattern data and (M+1)(M+2)/2 input impedance data are measured at known reactance value sets, a far-filed patterns and input impedance of every reactance value sets can be calculated (M is the number of parasitic elements). The characteristics of reactance values of variable reactors joined to parasitic elements can be also calculated from input impedance.
