Abstract(in English) | It is difficult to consider an ESPAR antenna with separate radiator and varactor in the antenna's measurement since beamforming of the ESPAR antenna is performed by controlling the bias voltage of the varactors integrated at the base of its parasitic elements. In this paper, we consider extracting the parameters of the impedance matrix by using a measurement method. An equivalent weight vector model is proposed and the reactive-near-field probing technique is used to extract the parameters. Because the antenna's impedance matrix describing the electromagnetic mutual coupling of the antenna's elements are constant without the influence of varying reactance and excitation signal, we try to extract the parameters of the impedance matrix by taking the minimum time of measurement. As a result, it was shown that the parameters of the impedance matrix were extracted by only two times of the current measurement under two setsof different bias voltages without depending on the numbers of the antenna. Furthermore, calibration of the antenna's reactance was also shown. |
