Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Dielectric resonator antennas (DRA) are studied for millimeter wave applications required for broadband telecommunication systems. This report shows the radiation characteristics of DRAs calculated in millimeter wave band. Conformal model of probe excitation is treated and it is shown that the model has dependency as the change of HEM_<11δ> mode. In order to obtain broadband characteristics a model of folded slot excitation is investigated. The model improves the dependency of frequency on radiation pattern.
