Abstract(in English) Wideband InterNetworking engineering test and Demonstration Satellite (WINDS) aims to develop and to verify the technology of the high-data-rate communication networks using the satellite links. NASDA and CRL develop WINDS cooperatively and plan to launch at FY 2005. WINDS has Ka-band transponder that is constructed of the Multi-Beam Antenna (MBA), the Multi-Port Amplifier (MPA), the Active Phased Array Antenna (APAA), the ATM Baseband Switch (ABS) and so on. We develop such equipments and will verify the specifications on the orbit, and will carry out the various satellite communication experiments using WINDS.
