Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A Proximity fed Microstrip Antenna (PMA), in which a microstrip element is excited by a microstrip feed line via a narrow gap, is known to have advantages such that the polarization plane can be switched. In this report, a configuration of 2-element PMA array is proposed, and its fundamental characteristics are investigated by FDTD analysis and experiments. A circuit for controlling the polarization status electronically is proposed, and its effective performance are revealed bv measurements.
