Design Criteria for Space-Frequency Trellis Codes over Frequency Selective Fading Channels

Abstract(in English) In this report, we propose new design criteria based on the distance spectrum for the coding gain of space-frequency trellis codes (SFTC's) with and without interleaver over quasi-static frequency selective fading channels. Moreover, we propose new 4-PSK, 4 state and 8-PSK, 8 state SFTC's that achieve a good frame error rate (FER) with and without interleaver by computer search based on the proposed design criteria.
