Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents a H-plane-slotted waveguide array antenna with circular polarized broadside beam. It is shown that grating lobe, which was a problem in slotted waveguide design, is suppressed by using a sequential slot array structure, and that the degradation of axial ratio caused by the groundplane-edge can be compensated by adjusting the inclined-slot spacing. In addition, a tow-dimensional array antenna with the aperture area of 2.6λ_0×2.6λ_0 are designed, and its characteristics including the antenna gain and axial ratio are also demonstrated.
