Reduction scheme of Over-Reach Interference in P-MP Type Fixed Wireless Access System Considering Visibility

Abstract(in English) Over-reach (OR) interference from subscriber stations (SSs) in other zones is a serious problem when developing spreading service area of P-MP type fixed wireless access system. This report presents a reduction scheme of the OR interference by increasing transmission power of subscriber stations in interfered zone. The idea of allowable existing probability of SSs which give interference and area rate are introduced to calculate an allowable visibility. Example areas where the proposed scheme can be used are presented with its building parameters. Finally effects of the proposed scheme are summarized.
