Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In an office space, various benefits are gven to humans by installing plants. Although it is very small quantity, absorption of carbon dioxide is an effect. In this study, the effect for a plant absorbing carbon dioxide using an experiment chamber was examined. Moreover, the plants were installed in an actual office space and the effect was investigated. Firstly, the experiment was carried out in a room, in which there was no person. The effect was fairly recognized at that experiment. The effect decreased when there were some persons in the room, namely persons discharged large volume of carbon dioxide and plant-pots could not absorb it. However, a little effect was identified. In this study, the evaluation coefficient for absorbing carbon dioxide of a plant was proposed using the absorbing characteristic and ten kinds of plants were evaluated using the coefficient. Pothos and warmeckii had higher coefficients.
