Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, odor sensing systems are expected to be used for quality control of various products. Up to the present, some kinds of odor sensing systems have been proposed. They are ultrasonic type, surface plasmon type, oxide semiconductor type, etc. In the oxide semiconductor type odor sensing system, the electric conductivity changes when odor material exists near the surface of oxide semiconductor. In this paper, we have fabricated two-channel odor sensing system using SnO_2 and ZnO, and succeeded in distinguishing some kinds of juice.
