Abstract(in English) | We have recently reported that it was possible to control the coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) in HfW_2O_8-MgWO_4 co-sintered ceramic system and that a newly tungstate, HfMg(WO_4)_3, were synthesized in this system. Furthermore, a single-phase tungstate, HfMg(WO_4)_3 were synthesized and the thermal expansion in HfMg(WO_4)_3 was measured using thermal mechanical analysis. From these data, we determined a newly tungstate, HfMg(WO_4)_3 had a negative CTE. |
