Abstract(in English) The adhering, epitaxial growth mechanism and nonlinear optical properties of Vanadyl-Phthalocyanine (VOPc) thin films that were fabricated on a substrate preheated to different temperatures before evaporating VOPc molecules on the KBr (100) substrate were investigated by Vis/UV spectra, SEM images, second harmonics and third harmonics. In the low temperature (25℃) substrate, there were many nuclei of single crystals on the KBr (100) substrate. In the substrate preheated at a high temperature (200℃), molecules adhering to the substrate are desorbed from the substrate. Therefore, the nuclei growth of single crystals decreases with the increase of the preheating temperature of the substrate so that the number of single crystals decreases with the increase of the preheating temperature. Therefore, the VOPc thin film fabricated on the substrate preheated at a high temperature changes from a pseudomorphic layer into plate-like single crystal.
