Abstract(in English) | In recent years, Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) systems have become more important with wide and rapid spread of the Internet. We have fabricated a four-channel wavelength division demultiplexer for CWDM systems operating at 1270, 1290, 1310, and 1330 nm, by using a diffraction grating and a polymer optical waveguide together. A wide passband of 10 nm, low insertion loss of 6 dB, and low cross talk of less than -18 dB were achieved for a TM-polarized beam incident on the grating. |
