| 抄録(和) | 植物は強い抗菌性があるヒノキチオールなど様々な匂いを放つことが明らかにされてきている.室内で用いられる観葉植物もヒトに心地よい匂いを放つものがあるが,一方でその匂いを吸収する植物もある.近年,癒しが求められる室内環境において,これら植物を寄せ植えし快適な室内環境をデザインすることが行われてきている.このとき,匂いを発生するものと除去するものを考慮し配置する必要がある.これらの指針を得るために,ゴールドクレストとポトスの匂い発生・除去機能を計測したので報告する. |
| 抄録(英) | It has become well known that plants emit various kinds of odors, for example, hinokitiol and pinen. These odors have strong antibacterial properties. Foliage plants also emit comfortable odors for humans when they are placed in indoor and outdoor environments. On the other hand, some plants have the capability to decompose these vital odors. Recently, it is popular to plant several kinds of plants together in order to give us visual pleasure and healing effect. However the arrangement of plants is important. The healing effect becomes weaker when odor emitting plants and decomposing plants are planted together. For example, gold-crest emits strong odors and pothos decomposes these chemicals. In that case, the healing effect becomes smaller. The odor emitting and decomposing characteristics of plants are examined in this paper. It becomes obvious that pothos has the capability to decompose the odor chemicals that are emitted by a gold-crest as well as indoor air polluting chemicals, for instance folmaldehyde, xylene and toluene. |
