Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, Nankai Trough is interesting area on subterranean resources, for example, methane hydrate and prevention of disasters, for example, big earthquakes. We carried out the marine MT(Magneto-telluric) survey between Dec,2002 and Jan,2003. Nine high frequency OBEMs(Ocean Bottom Electro-Magnetometers) were used for this survey. We calculated MT parameters(Coherency, Apparent-Resistivity, Phase), and estimated the Resistivity Structure across the Nankai Subduction Zone by two-dimensional inversion.
