| Abstract(in English) | Telemetric network observation of pulse-like geo-electric current signals induced on a vertical dipole buried underground has been conducted at 8 observation sites such as Erimo, Tsukuba, Shimizu etc. since 1964. This paper notes on analyses of the signal, showing long and short-term periodical variation of the signal due to Sun-spot and ionospheric and meteorological activity. Anomalous signals have also been observed at Erimo station during a period of from February 2000 to March 2001,when Usu volcano erupted, and at Tsukuba station from December 1996 to March 1997, when Ibaraki Nanbu earthquake swarm occurred, respectively. We suggest these anomalies might be related to the volcanic and the seismic activities. |
