Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Usually we locate the position of buried pipes using a GPR in the case of piping works in concrete. It would be difficult to break concrete without the information of the diameter of water pipes. Then, authors considered to presume the diameter of the vinyl chloride pipe often used for water, paying attention to the reflective phenomenon of the electromagnetic wave. The simulation using FDTD was compared with experiment data, and it turned out that the diameter presumption would be possible.
