Abstract(in English) GLI is an optical sensor on board ADEOS-II satellite which was launched on H-IIA Flight #4, GLI can observe the solar reflectance and earth radiation in 36 spectral channels from UV to IR with 1600km swath This paper describes GLI on-orbit initial checkout result through April 2003.
