Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, the cases where the monitoring of navigation performance of aircraft, traffic situation etc. is a prerequisite for ensuring safety are increasing.. The MNPS (Minimum Navigation Performance Specifications) airspace in the North Atlantic and the RVSM (Reduced Separation Minima) airspace are its typical examples. In these airspaces, a monitoring agency has been established. This paper briefly describes the results of the survey on the role and organization of the monitoring agency, and the monitoring system.
