| Abstract(in English) | GPS(Global Positioning System) that acquires location information has already been used widely. Although many system using GPS and mobile terminals are realized, these system usually require large-scale facilities such as the management and control center. And it seems that there is no such system, which everyone can easily construct, operate or revise freely in order to improve. Therefore, we developed the simple indication/acquisition system of location information using GPS and mobile terminal, which anyone can easily construct and operate. These systems will be applied to the operation and control system of the vehicle. GPS and mobile terminal are directly connected. Location information is acquired from GPS through public telephone network, mobile network and computer server with MODEM. Then acquired location log data are changed into latitude and longitude data by CGI (Common Gateway Interface) installed in server. By using latitude and longitude data, location is indicated on the map. and these information can be obtained by PC connected to INTERNET. We constructed this system and also confirmed the system behavior. In this paper, we described the system to obtain location information by PC connected to INTERNET. Data indication on the mobile terminal has been investigating. |
