Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Surface clutter interference with precipitation measurement from space using 35.5 GHz radar was evaluated for the Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) Mission, which is planned as successor to the Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM). And a new approach to suppress the side lobe clutter is introduced.
