| Abstract(in English) | ESA, NASDA and CRL have been jointly conducting design study of EarthCARE mission, a satellite mission aiming the global observations of clouds and aerosols by onboard millimeter wave cloud pro filing radar (CPR) and lidar and so on. CRL has completed the preliminary design study of CPR. It is confirmed so far that development of high sensitive Doppler CPR satisfying the performance requirements is feasible. EarthCARE CPR based on the preliminary design is introduced. |
