Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The High-Frequency (HF) ocean radar is a kind of Doppler radar that can continuously obtain sea surface current vectors, sea surface wind direction and wave spectrum. Recently, bistatic HF ocean radar network is paid attention because it can be able to utilize frequencies resources more efficiently and is needed smaller space for construction, compare to conventional HF ocean radar network. In this paper, we introduce the method to obtain surface current vectors by the bistatic HF ocean radar and show preliminary observation result of surface current vectors.
