Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The volume of air traffic in the oceanic airspace from Japan to North America and Hawaii was measured. Based on this traffic volume, the simulation was carried out in case that aircraft flies on its requested altitude instead of assigned altitude. The pair of adjacent aircraft that fly at the same altitude at the point in the oceanic air route with shorter longitudinal separation than the separation standard were detected. The adjacent aircraft pair was categorized in terms of crossing time, altitude and departure airport. The estimation method of the number of adjacent aircraft pair based on air traffic volume was proposed. The number of aircraft which will affect air traffic flow management in the oceanic airspace in the future was estimated using this method.
