Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A trial operation of an ADS(Automatic Dependent Surveillance) system is being conducted in the oceanic area. The ADS is a surveillance system, which automatically provides the data of position derived from onboard systems to the air traffic control center via VHF or satellite data link. In ADS full-operational environments, the prediction error, which is the difference between a reported position and its predicted position of ADS, is a important parameter to estimate the safety of an air route. This paper describes the method of analyses to establish a model for the distribution and results for R220 in the North Pacific route.
