| Abstract(in English) | The Wideband InterNetworking engineering test and Demonstration Satellite( WINDS) Project is planned as the joint-development project of NASDA and Communications Research Laboratory (CRL). Phase B study of this project was started by NASDA last year and is still continuing. The WINDS network experiment system is planned to demonstrate high data rate communications experiment, using newly key technology such as high power multi-port amplifier, Ka band scanning spot beam antenna, on-board switch and so on. The WINDS is planned to be launched in Japanese fiscal year 2005. This paper describes concept and outline of the WINDS experiment system. |
