Abstract(in English) We have exhibited SSMF 80 km transmission using the low-cost transmission system, the 1300 nm 10 Gb/s directly modulated DFB-LD and forward error correction. We have also confirmed that the simulation results showed good agreements with the experiments, and by using the simulation, that we could transmit SSMF 80 km almost all the wavelength range of 10GBASE-L.
