Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the next generation mobile communications, the requirement for the higher bit rate can be expected and thus the larger transmit power is necessary to satisfy the required E_b/N_o at the receiver. Here, Multihop Cellular System is considered for transmit power compensation. In the multihop cellular system, simple relay stations are placed around the BS. Relay station assists the communications between MS and BS, and keep the cell size same. In the relay communications system, less power is required to achieve the large cell size. Further, interference decreases because transmit power is lowered. In this paper, we consider the radio relay multihop system. Especially, we focus on the uplink because there is upper bound for the MS transmit power. In this paper, we evaluate the basic performance of multihop and clarify the problems of multihop system on sectorized BS system. After that, we suggest the solution.
