Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This study investigates the potential of high value-added communications by using steganography especially for VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) speech transmission. Speech quality of VoIP may potentially be degraded by transmission errors such as packet loss and delay that are basically inevitable in best-effort communications. This study proposes an error concealment technique for such degradation by using steganography. In addition, this study also proposes a band-widening technique for VoIP speech by using steganography.
