Abstract(in English) As the growing demand for radio LAN access service today, this paper proposes deployment of GE-PON (Gigabit-Ethernet Passive Optical Network) systems as access networks for access points (AP) in the radio LAN system. By providing one logical link on GE-PON to each radio terminal and move the authenticator function from AP to OLT, bandwidth guarantee can be achieved by DBA in GE-PON. Fast hand-off function is feasible as well.
